Playgroup

Bright Play

Playgroup · 1.5 to 3 years

The first step away from home is the biggest one a small child takes. Bright Play is built around making that step feel safe. Days are short, unhurried and full of touch, sound and colour, with a teacher always within arm's reach. Separation is handled gently over the first two weeks rather than all at once.

Age group1.5 – 3 years
Timings9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Group sizeSmall group with helper

What they learn

  • Sensory play & exploration
  • Story sessions and rhymes
  • Music & movement
  • Naming colours, shapes and objects
  • Self-help: washing hands, drinking, tidying

A day looks like

  • Welcome circle with songs and names
  • Sensory table — water, dough, sand
  • Snack together, sitting as a group
  • Free play in the large play area
  • Story on the mat before home time

By the end of the year — your child separates comfortably at the gate, follows a simple routine, names everyday objects in English, and plays happily alongside other children.

Nursery

Bright Buds

Nursery · 3 to 4 years

This is the year language takes off. Children move from playing beside others to playing with them, and from single words to whole sentences. Curiosity takes root through stories, music and hands-on exploring every single day, with early literacy and numeracy woven into play rather than taught at a desk.

Age group3 – 4 years
Timings9:00 am – 12:30 pm
Group sizeSmall group with helper

What they learn

  • Early literacy — letter sounds and recognition
  • Counting, sorting and comparing to 20
  • Origami & art
  • Pretend play and role-play corners
  • Listening, turn-taking and sharing

A day looks like

  • Circle time — calendar, weather, news
  • Phonics and story session
  • Snack and outdoor play
  • Art, craft or origami activity
  • Music, movement or free choice

By the end of the year — your child speaks in full sentences, recognises letters and their sounds, counts and compares small numbers, and plays cooperatively with friends.

LKG

Bright Junior

LKG · 4 to 5 years

Creativity flourishes here, and so does thinking. Children begin reading and forming letters properly, and start explaining why they think something. The day has more structure than Nursery but keeps art, pretend play and group storytelling at its centre, so the shift to formal learning never feels abrupt.

Age group4 – 5 years
Timings9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Group sizeSmall group with helper

What they learn

  • Reading & writing foundations
  • Numbers, patterns and early addition
  • Critical thinking games and puzzles
  • Group storytelling and presentation
  • Art, drama and imaginative play

A day looks like

  • Morning circle and calendar work
  • Guided reading and letter formation
  • Maths through games and materials
  • Snack and structured outdoor playtime
  • Art, drama or group storytelling

By the end of the year — your child reads simple words, writes letters and their own name, works with numbers and patterns, and can tell a story to the group with confidence.

UKG

Bright Senior

UKG · 5 to 6 years

The final year is about confidence for what comes next. Structured learning increases, and so do responsibilities — leading the line, helping a younger child, presenting to the class. Children leave able to sit, listen, finish a task and ask for help, which is what big schools actually look for.

Age group5 – 6 years
Timings9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Group sizeSmall group with helper

What they learn

  • School readiness program
  • Reading fluency and independent writing
  • Number sense and problem-solving
  • Confident communication and presentation
  • Leadership through play and classroom roles

A day looks like

  • Morning assembly and news sharing
  • Structured English and maths blocks
  • Snack and outdoor playtime
  • Project, experiment or presentation
  • Reflection and reading before home

By the end of the year — your child reads and writes independently, handles numbers with confidence, speaks clearly in front of a group, and is ready for the routines of primary school.

Daycare, 1.5 to 10 years

  • Homework support for older children
  • Indoor and outdoor free play

Good to know

  • Available before and after school hours

  • Same premises, same familiar staff
  • Pickup by authorised adults only

Daycare timings and fees vary by option — we'll walk you through them on your visit.

Joining us takes four steps

No entrance test and no interview for your child. Admission is by age group and availability.

  1. Visit us

Come during a working morning rather than an open day, so you see a normal Tuesday.

  2. Meet the teacher

Twenty minutes with the person who will actually be in the room, and time for your questions.

  3. Confirm the place

Complete the form, share the birth certificate and immunisation record, and pay the first instalment.

  4. Settle in gently

A short first week that builds up, so the first full day is never the first day.

Limited seats available

Your child deserves a school that sparks curiosity, ignites creativity and builds lifelong confidence.

Admissions open at BrightCorner Global School, Shaikpet — across all four programs.

Mon–Sat, 9am–6pm · 2nd Saturday closed
